Bulphan Church of England Academy and Orsett Church of England Primary School celebrated sporting success recently after competing in the annual Borough Olympics.
The children were incredibly excited to be able to come together and compete in a variety of track and field events with schools from across Thurrock. For the first time in over two years, schools gathered at Thurrock Athletics Stadium in Grays to take part in 70m sprints, 600m runs, relays, high jump and many more fun events.
Both schools performed incredibly well and were a real credit to the Vine Schools Trust, with Orsett placing third in the overall competition and Bulphan finishing with 12 medals! The children worked fantastically as a team and made their teachers very proud with their enthusiasm and positivity.
